When you think of volunteering the thing that comes to mind is helping old people, going to a concert and helping them set up or perhaps dilevering newspapers. All these things help the commnity in one way or another. It makes people respect you and beleieve it or not it makes you feel good about yourself.
There can be many ways to voulenteer. It could be through an organization or many more. I volunteer by helping litle kids learn how to play the guitar. Its one thing that many dream of doing and something that people actually make it happen. Its not much but i enjoy doing so and it makes smiles on all of the little kids face and a smile is a million words!
This helps my community by helping the kids come together and help them develop a new and improved skill. So far i have gotten together once a week and they all find it really fun!.Everyone is enjoying watching everyone learn and discover new things each and everyday. I find it intresting how they all learn how to do something and try to help the others learn and get ahead to. No one gets left in the dust its not a competition and its a wonderful thing that they are there for one another.
We have started doing chords and learning the basics of the guitar and hopefully in the next few months we will be able to play a full song on guitar. There is nothing that you can't do if you set your mind to it!
